春畫在江戶時代也經歷過幾次打擊、禁止、查抄,但有需求就有市場,它轉入了地下。春畫并不是百分之百的違禁品,政府會開放一段時間再收緊一段時間,睜一只眼閉一只眼,官方也知道這些是禁不住的。
