The Company
My Grandma and Me Publishers was established in 2003. It is a family run business. Six books have since been published, 5 children's book and one inspirational book. In that time approximately 47,000 books have been sold. The past four years have been years of personal and professional growth. Over 25,000 school age children have been addressed by Grandma Janet Mary. Many community and church groups have also heard her important message as she continues to address many adults through her public speaking engagements. This company wishes to touch, in a special way, the hearts and minds of all who read these books.
The company is deeply committed to promoting literacy in the schools, libraries and within the entire community. “Reading helps the mind and heart to grow,” states Grandma Janet Mary. “Reading is the key to understanding. Understanding is the key to respect and respect for one another is the key to a peaceful world.”
This philosophy comes alive in her new book titled:
Priscilla McDoodleNutDoodleMcMae Asks Why?
Though unrelated to the Grandma Janet Mary Series, this fantasy story is told in whimsical rhyme. It embraces diversity and promotes respect for all people. The interest and enthusiasm for this new and upcoming book has been phenomenal.
The company continues to strive for excellence in every aspect of production. Each hard covered, color illustrated book is beautifully designed with vibrant color. High quality paper using the four color process makes for a book that is enjoyed and shared as a keepsake. The books are meant for grandchildren and grandparents alike.
The Grandma Janet Mary Series along with her Ten Lessons Learned, Gifts from Those Remembered, have reached thousands across the country and beyond. The Series has been endorsed by the Accelerated Reading Program and countless media specialists, school administrators and educators. Additional titles centering on the grandchild/grandparent relationship are in the works. My Grandpa’s Coaching Third and My Grandma Shakes, So What! will be published in the near future.
